SmartPaginate Pro replaces basic prev/next links with a fully-featured, accessible, AJAX-powered pagination system. It works as a drop-in replacement for any list, grid, or table that currently uses traditional page reloads.
The switch between numbered pagination and infinite scroll can be toggled by users at runtime — a small control lets them choose their preferred mode and it persists in localStorage. When navigating between pages, the URL updates via the History API, which means every page state is bookmarkable, shareable, and fully indexable by search engines.
Accessibility is first-class: full keyboard navigation, ARIA live regions that announce when new content loads, and loading skeletons that prevent layout shift during requests. The skeleton placeholders match the height of your actual items so the page doesn't jump as content arrives.
